BUY-BACK PROGRAM

We believe our denim and Stan Rays are meant to last a lifetime! However, things happen. Our sizes change, our taste evolves and you may change your mind somewhere down the line! Based on customer feedback we decided to create a Buy-Back Program for our Vintage Levi’s Denim and Stan Rays.

If you’re interested in trading in a pair of denim or Stan Rays and picking up a different color or style, this program is for you.

How Will It Work?

We will assess your Denim and Stan Ran’s on a case-by-case basis using an internal grading system. Based on the quality/condition of the item, we will offer you a credit that you may use to redeem your new pair of Stan Rays/Denim.

When bringing in your Stan Rays and/or denim to be assessed, we recommend:

1. Freshly washing your pants!
2. Spot treating any stains/marks.
3. Check for noticeable areas of wear and tear.

SIZING

I'm trying to buy vintage denim. Is a waist measurement the same thing as my "size"?

Particularly with vintage denim, sizing can be tricky. Because vintage denim does not have any stretch, you normally need to account for several inches of 'breathing' room to accommodate any movement in the denim. Nowadays a size 28 may actually measure out to a 30" waist especially if there is stretch.  Therefore you may fit a size 28 in a modern pair of denim, but you may actually have a 30" waist which the stretch accommodates for.

There are different ways of wearing vintage denim. You can go for a more loose fitting look or a more fitted look. This will also help you determine which "waist" size you should get.

Main thing to remember is that you normally need to size up as vintage denim does NOT have ANY stretch. So in case you want to breath or move around, you'll need an inch or two of room.

Do you list unisex sizing or women's sizing?

If you're shopping under the menswear filter, assume all sizing is unisex. For any clothing under the femme filter, assume the sizing is women's. The best way to get a sense of the correct size is to look at all measurements. This is going to be your best indicator. When shopping vintage, understanding your measurements is the key to successful shopping. :)
